Accessibility Statement
Last Updated: August 2026
FinanceProspector is committed to making our website accessible and usable for as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.
We consider accessibility when we design, publish and maintain FinanceProspector. This statement explains the accessibility practices we currently use, the guidance we follow, known limitations and how to report an accessibility problem.
If you have difficulty accessing or using FinanceProspector, email hello@financeprospector.com.
Our Approach to Accessibility
FinanceProspector is designed to make financial information easier to research, compare and understand.
Accessibility is part of that experience. We consider how people navigate the site, read our content, interact with page elements and use different browsers, devices and accessibility features.
How We Build for Accessibility
FinanceProspector uses accessibility practices intended to make the site easier to navigate, read and use.
Page structure. We use headings and page landmarks to organize content and help users understand the structure of a page.
Keyboard navigation. Visible keyboard focus states help identify the active element, and a skip link allows users to move directly to the main content.
Images. Content images include alternative text where appropriate. Decorative images are identified so they can be ignored by assistive technology.
Text and contrast. Our primary text colors are designed to provide readable contrast against their backgrounds.
Responsive design and zoom. FinanceProspector is designed for desktop, tablet and mobile screens. We do not prevent users from enlarging content with browser or device zoom controls.
Motion preferences. Parts of the site recognize reduced-motion preferences where motion is used.
Data tables. Where tables are used, we include structural information intended to make relationships between headings and data clearer.
These practices are currently implemented on FinanceProspector, but they do not mean that every page or feature is free from accessibility barriers.
The Guidance We Follow
FinanceProspector uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) published by the World Wide Web Consortium as guidance for website accessibility.
WCAG provides recommendations for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities.
FinanceProspector does not currently claim conformance with a particular WCAG level. We have not completed a formal third-party accessibility audit or certification, and we have not tested the entire site with every assistive technology, browser or device configuration.
Known Limitations
We have not yet fully evaluated every aspect of FinanceProspector's accessibility.
In particular, we have not completed comprehensive testing with specific screen readers or other assistive technologies.
If you encounter an accessibility problem, please tell us using the contact information below.
Third-Party Websites
Our content may refer you to financial providers, community-rating platforms or other third-party websites.
We do not own or control those websites, and their accessibility practices may differ from ours.
We cannot guarantee the accessibility of third-party websites.
Reporting an Accessibility Problem
If you experience difficulty accessing, navigating or using FinanceProspector, email hello@financeprospector.com.
When possible, please include:
- the page or feature you were using;
- the web address of the page;
- a brief description of the problem;
- the browser or device you were using, if known; and
- any assistive technology you were using, if relevant.
You do not need to know what caused the problem. Tell us what you were trying to do and what prevented you from doing it.
Your feedback can help us identify accessibility barriers and improve the experience for other FinanceProspector users.
